Can I store my luggage before/after my stay?
Yes, you can store your luggage before your check-in or after your check-out.
Just ask our staff for the directions to our storage room.
When do I have to check out in the morning?
You can leave the hostel anytime before 10:00.

Store it in our luggage room even after your check-out.
I am arriving after reception opening times (7pm), how do I get into my bed?
In case you will not be able to make it to the hostel before 19:00, give us a quick notice via phone call/whatsapp message/email, and we will send you all the self-check-in informations. By following the steps in our message, you will easily find your bed and after a good sleep you will come to the reception in the morning and do your check-in.
Is breakfast included?
No, unfortunately we don’t offer breakfast.
Our fully equipped kitchen can be found on the third floor.
What type of cards can I pay with?
You can purchase your stay on our website with VISA MASTER or MAESTRO cards.
In case you would like to pay with AMERICANEXPRESS or PAYPAL, you can make your reservation on Booking.com or Hostelworld.com

How loud is the bar at night?
The bar is open until 2 am but the music stops already at 1:30 am. We have a silencer at the door to keep noise outside to a minimus, still we cannot guarantee for friday and saturday night especially that there is no noise. If you are a light sleeper, please contact us and we take care to put you in a quiet bed. We offer earplugs free of charge.
How do I enter?
All doors have number codes that you receive at check in.
Every bed has its own locker that comes with a lock.
Is there an elevator?
Our buildings are old but charming. Still you have to walk stairs to all levels.
I work online – is there a co-working space?
Yes, there is. We just renovated our little “Me-Room” with three work stations and super fast Wifi.
Just ask at the reception.
What is the Welcome Card?
From just 2 nights, you can expect free travel on public transport in the city and in the Innsbruck region, the free guided summer activity programme and discounts for swimming pools, lakes and many other experiences. In winter, you can take the ski bus from the hostel to all ski areas of Olympia SkiWorld Innsbruck free of charge. Another highlight: from 3 nights you get free rides on selected cable cars with the Welcome Card PLUS. You will receive the welcome card at check in via email.
Arriving by car? Where can I park?
If you would like to rent a parking space, you can reserve it up-front via email.
The underground garage is located approx. 5min walk from the hostel.
It has a height limitation of 2.1 meters and costs 10€ per day.
You can pick up the key at the reception, where we explain all the details.
The garage is available from 14:00 (same as check-in time) until 12:00 on the day of your check-out. In case there is no reservation, we can’t guarantee a free space.
Do you offer towels?
Freshly washed towels are prepared on every bed and included in the price.
In case of a longer stay (5+ days), we offer exchange for a new one on request.
I am arriving with bike/ski/snowboard equipment, can I store it somewhere safely?
Yes, our storage room is big enough for all your sports equipment.
Where can I smoke in the hostel?
For our smokers we have a rooftop terrace, where smoking is allowed.
Everywhere indoors, smoking is strictly forbidden!
Kitchen usage and night-time silence.
We ask all our guests to respect night-time silence after 10pm, when arriving back to the hostel late. Same applies for the use of the kitchen, which is forbidden between 22:00-6:00.
We are a bigger group of friends, how can we book?
For the groups under 20 people, we recommend to book directly on our website www.montagu-hostel.com. In case of groups of more than 20 people, contact us via email and we will handle your booking individually.
How can I change the dates of my booking?
In case that your travel plans change, you can always modify the date of your stay by yourself via the channel you booked through.
In case you booked on our website, just click on the link in your confirmation email on the very bottom.In case you booked on Booking.com or Hostelworld.com, log into your account and change the dates to your new ones.
How can I cancel my booking?
In case you can’t make it, you can cancel free of charge three days before your arrival.

How can I apply for a Job?
If you want to become part of the team please mail us your CV with some fancy details about you. We are always happy to welcome beautiful souls either at the bar or in our hostel.
Where can I do my laundry?
The closest place to wash your laundry is called “Bubble Point” at Innstrasse 11 only 1 min walk away. Huge machines – washing and tumbler. You can pay card and cash.
Do you rent out Bikes?
There are public city bikes that we recommend called “Next Bike” – you can download the app here.
Do you offer CITY TOURS?
There are only tours offered by the city of Innsbruck. The reception has a broad variety of flyers and since we all love our area and do all kinds of sports, we for sure find something to do for everyone.
